Golf Links is one of the most expensive places to live in India; the cheapest houses sell for millions of US dollars. It is considered one of the richest neighborhoods in India and the name is inspired by the adjacent Delhi Golf Course. It is also very close to a similar neighborhood called Jor Bagh, and is a very low-key locale. It has only 220 odd houses, generally constructed in the years of late 1960’s.

Delhi Police enhanced the security to a very high level, and it currently enjoys round the clock patrolling. Quiet, elegant, peaceful with its leafy environs, it is one of the best places to live in New Delhi, and is a major status symbol. Mature trees, well maintained parks, most of the houses face park, very dignified and posh area. Khan Market, a market that offers practically everything to the expatriate has many multi-national chain stores, restaurants, lounges is very close. Nearest five star Hotels are Oberoi Intercontinental, The Taj Mahal, Ambassador and Claridges. Negligible power cuts. No Water problem. Very central, French school is the closest from here.

Recently the colony has been included in the classification of Lutyens Delhi. This means, no more construction or construction no more than existing built up area. Dampens the price as builders loose interest.
